The political saga continues... (aluta continua)
Poor me for thinking South Africa was a democratic state, the constitution of this country had me fooled indeed.
In a country where, a president masses disapprove of is seated in power, making strict orders as though the countless laments concerning his leadership do not exist.
Is it entirely as a result of our voting system that we find ourselves in such an unfavourable circumstance or could rigging be involved?
For I fail to accept or believe that the masses can be this stupid, to continue to allow such explicit corrupt government to reside in power.
Surely, corruption can not be utterly eradicated and cured entirely however, stringent measures should be implemented to curb it and have its culprits expelled. However in our political reality the untouchable president J. Zuma, who's been accused of fraud and rape is excempted from such expulsion.
The people of South Africa should be a priority, for that is the purpose for which we elect political leaders. For example, figure how much good could have been done with the money president J. Zuma used to build his Nkandla mansion.
It is an insult from my perception for the president we elected to think of himself to be more of a priority than the underprivileged residents of Nkandla and South Africa as a whole.
Is it only to president J. Zuma's favour that the struggle was fought? If not, why then can't he be stepped down?
And why should we allow one man to bring The Great ANC into disrepute?
